The Challenge
As Stanza Living expanded to 30 cities and 50,000 residents, their on-premise infrastructure at a single Bangalore data centre became a single point of failure. The ops team was spending 40% of their time on infrastructure firefighting rather than product development.
Our Approach
We conducted a 7R analysis across their 80-service portfolio. The majority were lift-and-shift candidates; six core booking and payment services required containerization before migration. We designed a parallel-run migration strategy with automated traffic switchover to ensure zero resident-facing downtime.
The Solution
Full migration to AWS (EKS, RDS, CloudFront, S3) completed over 5 months. Introduced Terraform for all infrastructure as code. Set up Datadog observability and AWS Cost Explorer dashboards. Established weekly FinOps review cadence with the CTO.
