End-to-end commerce architecture processing 10,000 orders/day with 99.9% uptime

Mars Rejects scaled from a local streetwear label to a national D2C brand in 18 months. Their Shopify Plus store was breaking under load and their fulfilment was manual. Durrani Tech re-architected their technology stack and marketing engine end to end.

The Challenge

During a major product drop, Mars Rejects' store crashed under 15,000 concurrent sessions. Checkout failures cost them an estimated ₹45L in a single afternoon. Their fulfilment team was manually processing orders from a spreadsheet. Retention marketing was non-existent.

Our Approach

We conducted a full architecture review and identified three critical failure points: server capacity, database query performance, and payment gateway configuration. We architected a headless commerce stack on Vercel + Shopify + AWS, designed for drop-day traffic patterns. In parallel, we built a Klaviyo retention programme and performance marketing funnel.

The Solution

Delivered a headless commerce stack capable of handling 50,000+ concurrent sessions. Integrated automated fulfilment via ShipBob API. Built a complete acquisition-to-retention marketing system. Site now processes 10,000+ orders on regular days and 80,000+ on drop days with zero downtime.
